Strange Lands

Thanks for the homily today, I am reminded of the chapter that consoled my super homesick self way back in my first month living away from home (due to college).

Genesis 12: The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

2 “I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.”

God put me in these strange lands (namely Pasay and Manila) to do His works the same way He did for Abraham.

Kurot in leaving home part 2

If you’re a student studying away from your hometown, you know the kurot you feel when you’re leaving home.

That kurot you feel when you’re heading back to your dorm.

This is my second year to experience this kind of kurot.

Maybe little by little, I’ll get used to it.

Matapos kong makapag-ayos ng gamit sa dorm, nagsimba ako and I heard what I needed to hear the most.

Salmong Tugunan: Panginoon, ikaw ang aking tahanan, noon, ngayon at magpakailanman.

Thank you for the reminder that my greatest home is OMNIPRESENT.

Present at all times

PRESENT IN ALL PLACES

I never really left my home.

I have my Home in my heart.

Wherever I go, I have my Home in You.

Dreams

I just want to share what I watched on my daily dose of Fulltank.

1. Connect to your dreams.

2. Connect to your values.

3. Connect to God.

Thank you Lord! I trust that you will give me the greatest fulfilment from the mission that you set for me!

Cheers for our dreams!

Glory to God!

RemindersforMyself1: Be a lil child every once in while

Thank God kasi kanina naligo ako sa ulan with my little brother & his neighborhood friends.

Di ko na maalala kung kelan ang huli kong pagligo sa ulan.

Ngayon, nakipaghabulan, nakitawa, nakilaro ako sa mga bata (Di pa naman ako ganon katanda 😂).

Cherished every single drop of this rain. Cherished this moment. Thank God.

I looked at these playing children with amusement & admiration in my eyes.

I think that it’s necessary to be a lil child every once in a while.

Take time to unload your adult burdens and be as light as this drizzle,

to play in the rain,

to smile widely and laugh genuinely,

to appreciate the little moments in life (little achievements, lil discoveries, lil funny stuffs),

to take yourself wonder by wonder in this life.

Dear, go take a break from being an adult and be a lil child every once in while.

#VacayMemories

#GrowingUp&GrowingDown wait wut?

How to spend the remaining days of vacation?

That feeling when you still have one week left before school starts.

The funny uncertainty of what to do.

You lie down, stare at your window.

Listen to the quiet hum of the afternoon- grumbling electric fan, chirping birds.

You think of your past, present and future.

Everything is still.

You think of reading, or maybe watching, or maybe doing some art.

A thought of advance reading naughtily persists XD. Nah gimme a break.

Let me cling to this moment. Of doing nothing

Can someone give me a guide on How to spend the remaining days of vacation .
